Account Updater is a service provided by the credit card networks to automatically update customer card data when cardholder information changes or goes out of date (for example, if the card gets lost, stolen or expired). It enables the merchant to avoid unnecessary payment declines, interruptions, and the cost associated with contacting customers for new information. With Account Updater, the updating of cardholder information stored for repeat purchases and recurring billing subscriptions is done automatically.
X-Payments currently supports account updaters for the following payment integrations:
- Authorize.Net
- WorldPay Total US
- Chase Paymentech Orbital
- BlueSnap
- Intuit QuickBooks Payments

If you are using one of the above-named payment integrations to process your customers' payments and wish to use the Account Updater feature, you will need to enable Account Updater in the settings of your account with the respective payment processor.
